Meera Patel

Meera grew up in New Jersey and graduated from Rutgers University with a BS in Accounting. After moving to Seattle two decades ago, she worked in biotech hoping to make a difference in people’s lives while being an accountant. While the work was enjoyable, Meera always had a yearning to make a more direct impact on those in need. 

One of Meera’s greatest achievements is being mom to three inquisitive kids. When she is not juggling three conversations at once with her kids (surprisingly, it can be done) or being the chief scheduling officer (CSO) for her family, she runs her family foundation. Meera and her husband, Sujal, started a family foundation in 2011 to help make a more direct, positive impact on others.

In her free time Meera enjoys any activity outside, specifically hiking, rock climbing, biking, skiing, and exploring national parks with her husband, twin teenage boys and younger daughter. 

Indoors, Meera is obsessed with watching documentaries and talking about them to anyone who will listen.
