Jenna Kelly

Jenna is a freelance producer at Optimist. She was the producer of the feature documentary This is Not Financial Advice (Fuse) and Five Years North (PBS) which won the Grand Jury Prize at DOC NYC. That film was a finalist for the 2021 duPont-Columbia Awards for Outstanding Journalism.

Jenna also produced the award-winning short documentary, The Undocumented Lawyer, which was released on HBO, as well as All Things Metal, which was acquired by Rolling Stone, and an animated history short narrated by Tom Hanks that was acquired by The Washington Post. In 2025, she premiered another feature film, State of Firsts, at Tribeca Film Festival.
